We got married on the 25th of July 2009. We were both just out of college and getting married on a crazy tight budget. It was a beautiful, sunny day when we exchanged vows outside, under a big tree, surrounded by family and friends. Afterwards we went to the art gallery where I was working at the time for photos of just the two of us. This quiet and intimate time was our favourite part of the day. Just a little bit of time to take a deep breath and let the thought settle. We are married. Our photographer Tamryn Kerswell was amazing and I couldn't sing her praises enough.
For the reception we rented out the hall connected to the church gardens we had our ceremony in. We decorated it and our friends helped serve up a delicious bbq and buffet. It was simple but bursting with love. Every detail of the day was helped by people who loved us and were willing to help us have the best and lovliest days of my life. Here are a few photos
